High-strength VR-Titanium allows the toe side of the face to be made significantly thinner, yielding discretionary mass. Extra weight eliminated by a hollow-out heel side of the body and a thinner neck creates a lower and more centered CG. As with XXIO 14, an “L-groove” at the lower body reduces stiffness under the face to amplify flex and increase ball speeds. Enlarged thin-wall regions create discretionary mass for a lower and more centered CG. The body uses soft stainless steel for a softer impact feel and the ability to adjust loft/lie.
